Talented and introverted Ella Blake is engaged in animation. Day after day, she performs meticulous work, moving doll characters by millimeters. The girl works under the control of her authoritarian mother, who suppresses her desire for independence. But when her mother ends up in the hospital, Ella\'s life changes dramatically. She meets a guy. The heroine moves into an empty house and starts working on her own project. She is captivated by filming a scary story and doesn\'t notice how imaginary terror and horror invade her real life.
