\"Simple people. Challenging times.\" In 1942, a select group of young volunteers in Toccoa begin their military training. These young men will become soldiers in the newest parachute infantry divisions of the American army at that time. Under the harsh command of Lieutenant Sobel, the members of the newly formed Easy Company go through the journey from \"green recruits\" to representatives of the military elite. During the training process, a rivalry develops between Sobel, whom the soldiers immediately dislike, and Lieutenant Winters, a respected fighter.\"
