In a tranquil English village, an inquisitive and determined schoolgirl named Pippa Fitz-Emobi embarks on a mission to unravel a murder that occurred five years ago. The circumstances surrounding the death of a 17-year-old girl named Andy Bell remain shrouded in mystery. Andy's boyfriend, Sal Singh, was the primary suspect in the case, but he tragically took his own life before the authorities could apprehend him. Both the police officers and numerous townspeople firmly believe that Sal was responsible for Andy's untimely demise. Nonetheless, Pippa firmly believes that someone else is the true culprit and takes it upon herself to conduct her own investigation. In order to maintain her cover, she informs her teachers that she is gathering information for a school project centered around this gruesome case. Assisting her in her quest for the truth is Ravi, Sal's brother, who aids Pippa in unearthing the secrets that will ultimately reveal the real perpetrator.
